I gave three stars for staff friendliness and service but I would like to explain further. Reception, housekeeping, bar and restaurant staff get five stars. However, when we used the pool and my wife was trying to relax in the jacuzzi, two members of the leisure staff were discussing their working conditions and were giving out about another member of staff. As you can imagine, my wife could not relax and 'switch off' and this was very unprofessional of your leisure staff.

I am sorry but we were disappointed with our visit for the following reasons: - The house wine tasted of vinegar and when we raised it with the waiter he said "I just opened the bottle" and that was the end of it. - We were awoken early in the morning by cleaning staff shouting at each other between the rooms and crashing items very loudly. - At breakfast I tried to make toast - the first piece of bread was stale / hard. - We opted for the pears and yoghurt - the pears were rock hard and not edible. We stayed at the hotel so we could attend the musical in the function room. I paid €109 for the room which is a lot of money for our family. I hope this is useful - sorry I can't give a better review! Gerard Honer
